1 1/2 quarts of water (6 cups)
4 cups white vinegar
1/2 cup pickling salt
dill weed

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water, vinegar and salt in a large stockpot and bring to a boil on the stove.
Cool to room temperature.
Wash cucumbers and peel garlic.
Add two cloves of garlic to each jar and 1-2 sprigs of dill. (If using a gallon jar, add 8 cloves of garlic and 4-6 dill sprigs).
Pack jars with cucumbers,(it's really easy if they are quartered, but you have to experiment more when they are whole.)
Ladle brine over cucumbers, leaving 1/2" headspace at the top..
Put lidw on and place in the refrigerator to"pickle, ferment" for at least 2 days.
Full flavor is reached after 7-10 days.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I make up a lot of brine and make pickles as I get the cucumbers from the garden. It ends the problem of trying to make just the right amount of brine for the amount of cucumbers I would get from the garden every few days.
