Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Bushels of sweet corm
Shuck and desilk.
Cut any bad spots and ends of cob off.
Boil corn on the cob for 10 minutes per batch.
Remove corn from boiling water and emerse immediately into cold water.
Change water to keep corn in cold water, until corn has cooled off completely.
Place onto towels to drain the corn and to let the corn dry.
After all the corn is cooked and dry is when I start cutting the corn off the cob.
I will mark on the freezer bags what's in the bag and the date I filled it.
Once I get a large stainless pan full of corn is when I'll start filling zip lock freezer bags.
Then I determine how much corn I want per freezer bag.
I'll measure by cup fulls and fill each freezer bag with that much corn
I'll squeeze out all the air I possibly can.
I'll press them as flat as I can so they stack easier in the freezer.
Then place the bags in the freeezer in a single layer so the bags freeze faster.
