1 pound (4 cups) fresh cranberries
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and diced
1 pear, peeled, cored and diced
1 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup minced onions
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
1 tsp.ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
2 tbsp. Cointreau or orange liqueur
2 tbsp. Cognac

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy 3 quart saucepan, combine cranberries, apple, pear, raisins, onion, sugar, orange peel, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in orange juice.

Bring to boiling over high heat. Reduce heat.
Simmer, uncovered, until thick, about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in orange liqueur and Cognac. Cool. Can be made days ahead,
