1 tablespoon bacon grease
˝ cup onion
1 can of kraut
1 can chicken broth
1˝ tablespoons sugar
Vinegar (optional)
Caraway seeds (optional)
Grated apple (optional)
Cornstarch to thicken (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté ˝ cup onion in 1T bacon grease. Place 1 can of kraut in a colander and wash with hot water for 10 seconds, moving the colander back and forth. Add kraut to onions with 1 can chicken broth and 1˝ T sugar.
