2 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp kosher salt
3 Tbls butter, melted

2 tsp vanilla

Cake:
Spray 9x13 with cooking spray

Sift flour into bowl. Gently stir in baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl, beat melted butter, and sugar until well blended. Add eggs and beat again. Alternately add milk and dry ingredients to butter mixture. Fold in the fresh cranberries. Transfer the prepared cake batter to the prepared baking pan.

Bake cake, uncovered, on center rack for 25-30 minutes or until test in center of cake comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.

Sauce:
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. When sauce begins to simmer, reduce heat to medium and simmer 10-12 minutes, whisking constantly, making sure it doesn't boil. Let it thicken as it cools.

To serve, pour warm sauce over individual pieces for a large group. If serving it immediately, can pour warm sauce over entire cake just before serving.
