2 tsp vanilla
1 c hot milk

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until thick and light colored. Beat in sugar gradually, add salt and vanilla. Heat butter and milk to scalding, beat in quickly with first mixture. Blend in flour and baking powder. Pour into well greased 9x13 pan. Bake in 350º oven 35-40 minutes.

Combine topping ingredients. I will add oatmeal and coconut and leave nuts out. If it is too dry add a little more milk. Combine all ingredients and spread over hot cake. Place under broiler. Watch closely so it doesn't burn.
