3 or 4 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
½ cup chopped green onions, including the white part
½ cup chopped green pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 package frozen hash brown potatoes
1 cup sour cream
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Crushed corn flakes
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon until crisp. Add potatoes and cook until tender, but do not brown. You may need to add butter depending on the amount of fat from bacon. Add soup, onions, pepper, salt, cheese and sour cream. Pour into greased casserole and sprinkle with crushed corn flakes. Bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes.

This a great recipe for holidays or potlucks. You can make it up ahead of time and cook it when needed. This recipe also freezes well.
