1 C water
1/2 C long-grained rice
1/2 tsp salt
4 C milk
1/4 C butter
2 eggs
1/2 C sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 C raisins
Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
1. Bring water, rice and salt to a boil.
2. Add milk and butter; bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
4. Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla and add rice mixture.
5. Remove from heat and add raisins.
6. Turn into 13x9 pan and sprinkle with nutmeg.

8. Cover with plastic wrap and chill. May also be served warm.
