1 lg onion, cut into chunks
2 lg cloves of garlic smashed
1 12 oz can beer
1 14 oz can beef broth
1 cup water to cover beef (only if necessary)
4 lb flat corned beef brisket and flavor packet
Carrots
Baby red skinned potatoes
1 small head of cabbage

Directions:
Directions:
Place all the vegetables in the slow cooker.
Place the brisket on top of the vegetables.
Top with beer, spice packet and water to just cover the beef (add water to cover if necessary)
Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours. Slice and serve immediately.
