1 lb ground beef
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 Tbsp parsley
1 Tbsp basil
3/4 tsp salt
1 lb (2 cups) tomatoes
2 (6oz) cans tomato paste
10 oz lasagna noodles
2 (12 oz) cartons large curd cottage cheese
2 beaten eggs
2 Tbsp parsley
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
1 lb mozzarella, sliced thin

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and drain fat. Add garlic, parsley, basil, salt, canned tomatoes and tomato paste to meat. Simmer, uncovered until thick, 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender. Drain and rinse in cold water.
Combine cottage cheese with eggs, salt, pepper, parsley, and Romano cheese.
Place half of noodles in 13x9x2 in baking dish. Spread half the cottage cheese mixture over the noodles. Follow with half the mozzarella cheese and then meat mixture. Repeat the layers.
Bake in 375º oven for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
