2 1/2 cups warm water
1 pkg. (2 1/4 tsp.) yeast
1/2 cup sugar
6 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortenting (melted, lukewarm)
1/2 stick melted butter (not marjoram)
Cinnamon and sugar mixture
copped nuts, raisins (optional)

Glaze:
powdered sugar
butter
milk
orange flavoring(optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Add yeast and sugar to warm water, then add 3 3/4 cups flour and let rest for about 5 minutes to get spongy.
Let stand in warm place until light.
Then add the rest of the ingredients except the shortening.
Mix all of the ingredients well to make sure they are all incorprated then add the shortening and mix well..
Knead with the mixer for 5 minutes.
Oil a bowl large enough to hold the dough and with plenty of room to allow the dough to rise.
Place dough in bowl and roll it around to coat all sides with oil.
Cover bowl with damp cloth and place in refrigerator for 12 hours.
Divide dough in half.
Roll out on a lightly floured surface in the shape of 9X13 rectangle.
Brush the surface with melted butter.
Sprinkle the surface heavy with sugar and cinnamon.
Add nuts and or raisins (optional).
Roll into a jelly roll, slice into 1 inch slices.
Place into a greased 9X13 cake pan.
Cover with a damp cloth and set in a warm draft free area to rise until double.
Repeat with second half of dough.
Preheat oven to 400º.
Bake 15-20 minutes.
Cool.
Mix powdered sugar (depends on how much glaze you want on your rolls, a lot or little), 1 tsp. butter, 1/4 tsp. orange extract(opt) and milk.
Mix well untill all lumps are gone.
Drizzle over rolls and serve.
