1 cup butter
1 onion
1 cup uncooked white rice
1 can beef consomme soup
2/3 cup water
salt to taste
1 cup sliced mushrooms*

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add onion and rice. Saute about 10 minutes. Add soup, water and mushrooms and bring to a boil. Pour into butter casserole dish and bake uncovered for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
