Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb fresh green beans
2 T olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ t red pepper flakes
1 T soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste
sesame seeds (for garnish)

Directions:
Directions:
Blanch green beans. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the trimmed green beans and cook 2-3 mins until they are bright green and slightly tender. Immediately drain the beans and transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain again and set aside.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Sauté the garlic and red pepper flakes. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute, or until the garlic becomes fragrant. Be careful to not burn the garlic.

Add the green beans to the skillet and toss them with the garlic and oil until they are evenly coated.

Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Drizzle the soy sauce over the green beans and continue to sauté for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the green beans are fully heated through and tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
