Black Beans and Yellow Rice

2 cups uncooked long grain white rice.
1 2 Tbs. olive oil
2 clove garlic minced
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. cilantro
3 1/2 cups chicken broth (or half water).

In heavy saucepan sauté rice and garlic in olive
oil about 2 min. or until rice is translucent.
Add remaining ingredients and bringing to boil.
Stir, then cover and cook over low heat until
liquid is absorbed (10 12 minutes).

Serve side by side or with beans on top of your
rice.
