2 egg whites
1½ cups white sugar
¼ cup cold water
pinch salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
In a double boiler while water boils and with beaters on high, mix first 4 ingredients for 7 minutes. Remove and add the last 2 ingredients. Beat for several minutes until peaks form.
