1 cup bread cubes (stale bread works best)
1 tbsp butter, melted
1 egg, slightly beaten
¼ cup sugar
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla flavoring
¼ tsp cinnamon
2 cups milk, scalded
½ raisins or 1 can sliced peaches, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Scald milk. Butter a baking dish. In large mixing bowl, combine sugar, salt, vanilla flavoring, butter, cinnamon and egg. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Add bread cubes and raisins or peaches (may not need whole can). Mix thoroughly. Pour into well-buttered baking dish. Bake 1 hour at 375º.
