1 package lasagna noodles (9 total noodles)
2 lbs. ground beef
1 lb. sausage
1 onion - chopped
1 large can diced tomatoes
1 large jar spaghetti sauce
salt, pepper, Italian seasoning to taste
1 lb. shredded mozzarella

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef, sausage, and onion in a large stock pot. Drain grease. Add tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, and seasonings to meat mixture. Mix together and let simmer. Cook lasagna noodles according to box. Place three cooked noodles in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Ladle a layer of sauce over the noodles and sprinkle with cheese. Add another layer of three noodles. Ladle a layer of sauce over the noodles and sprinkle with cheese. Add a third layer of noodles. Ladle the remaining sauce over the noodles and sprinkle with cheese. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cooked lasagna slightly cool before serving.

After uncovering baked lasagna, you may need to put it back in the oven uncovered to brown the top layer of cheese. Serve with garlic bread.
