1 lb. breakfast sausage
1/3 C. flour
3 - 4 C. milk – add more if needed
½ tsp. salt – add more if needed
2 tsp. pepper – add more if needed
Biscuits of your choice

Directions:
Brown sausage in a large skillet. Keep breaking it down into small pieces as it cooks. Brown the sausage until no pink remains. Reduce heat to medium low. Sprinkle on half of the flour and let the sausage soak it up. Then continue adding the rest of the flour slowly while continuing to stir. Keep stirring and let it cook for one minute. Slowly start adding the milk while continuing to stir constantly. Add the salt and pepper. Cook the gravy until it thickens. Keep whisking it. This will take 10-15 minutes. If it is too thick, add around another ½ cup of milk. Taste and add more salt and pepper if needed. Serve with warm biscuits.
