4 c. rice (I like to use Uncle Ben's Brown rice.)
4 tsp. Lemon n Herb seasoning
2 tsp. dry dill
2 tsp. dry chives
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dry parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. dry thyme
8 chicken bouillon cubes, crumbled (I use 8 tsp. bouillon granules)


Directions:

Mix ingredients and store in an airtight container for later use.

To cook:
Melt 1/4 c. butter in casserole dish. Add 1 c. herbed rice and 2 c. water. Bake covered at 350º for 1 hour or until water is absorbed.

I use this recipe to keep an herbed rice mixture available for nightly meals. I have also used this when feeding a crowd; doubling, tripling and quadrupling the complete recipe and baking the rice in foil pans.
