Rye or rye/pumpernickel bread
2 pounds of Corned beef
1 jar/can of Sauerkraut
1 bottle of Thousand island dressing
Yellow mustard
1/2 pound of Swiss cheese
Butter
Sugar (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook the water out of Sauerkraut, optionally add 1 tsp of sugar
2. Spread light layer of mustard on one slice of bread
3. Spread heavy layer of thousand island dressing on both sides of the bread.
4. Layer in the following order: Swiss cheese, Sauerkraut, corned beef (generous layers), Swiss cheese
5. Butter each side and grill
