2˝lbs chicken breast
4 celery stalks
16oz baby carrots
1 small onion, diced
4 chicken bullion cubes
2 tbs minced garlic
1 tsp salt
˝ tsp pepper
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tbs baking powder
1 tsp salt
˝ cup shortening
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Remove excess fat from chicken, place in large pot. Add celery, carrots, onion, chicken bullion, garlic, salt and pepper to the pot and cover with water. Bring water to boil over medium high heat until chicken is cooked through.
2. In a medium size bowl mix, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening, then stir in milk just until mixed. Set aside until chicken is cooked.
3. Remove chicken from pot, cut or shred chicken into small pieces and return to pot. Drop biscuit mixture into pot by large spoonfuls. Cover and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes until biscuits are firm.
