1 cup butter
4 Tbls powered sugar
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tea baking powder
1/2 tea salt
1 tbls vanilla
1 cup finely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add flour to creamed butter. Add vanilla and nuts. Drop in 1 inch balls on a greased cookie sheet, and then mash slightly flat. Bake at 375 degrees until they are brown. If desired,
roll in powdered sugar. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
