1 cup butter
1 tbsp white corn syrup
1 lb crushed almonds
1⅓ cups granulated sugar
3 tbsp water
12 oz chocolate chips, melted
Candy Thermometer

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a 4 quart saucepan, then add sugar, white corn syrup and water. Stir frequently, and using Candy Thermometer, cook to 300º (hard crack stage). Pour candy onto a cookie sheet lined with crushed almonds. Let cool. Spread melted chocolate onto cooled candy and sprinkle with more crushed almonds, turn and repeat. Refrigerate until set and break inti bite sized pieces.
