4 cups black eyed peas (2 cans)
1 med. onion rough chopped
1 roll Kraft garlic cheese chopped
1 roll Jalapeno cheese chopped
Jalapenos to taste chopped
1 4oz can of green chilies
1 stick butter
1 Tbls Jalapeno juice

Directions:

Melt butter and cut up cheese on low heat stirring until melted well. Process all other ingredients in food processor or blender. Add butter mixture to processed ingredients until smooth and creamy. Serve with chips. It is quite hot so be careful when adding jalapenos. Fritos are delicious with it!

Note: Above are the ingredients, but this recipe is loose. Also, feel free to use Velvetta cheese and add garlic powder.

This is a delicious dip for any occasion. We have served this on New Years Day for many years. Good way to encourage kids to eat black eyed peas. Lysle Holmes shared this great recipe many years ago and have been making it every since.
