5 slices White Bread
handful of Grated Cheese
2 cloves Garlic, chopped
1/2 c fresh Parsley, chopped
1 Egg
dash of Black Pepper
Squid tubes, several, cleaned

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except tubes to make the stuffing.
Stuff squid 3/4 way to the top. Interweave toothpick, making 4 holes. Cook in a crushed tomato sauce for about one hour. Delicious!

Daddy has made these for Christmas Eve in the past. They were delicious! I had never had them before. The first time daddy made them, he overstuffed them and they burst while baking! So it is important to only fill 3/4! The squid sweetens the sauce just like crabs do! So good!
