Ingredients:  
3 lbs sweet potatoes or yams
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 sticks butter, cubed
Large marshmallows, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Peel potatoes and cut into 2 inch cubes. Place potatoes in large pot, cover with sugar, brown sugar and butter. Cook over medium heat until potatoes are fork tender (about 20 minutes) but not mushy. Optional: Cover top of yams with large marshmallows and put under broiler until the tops of marshmallows are a light brown.
