¼ lb. bacon, chopped
⅓ c. green peppers, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. uncooked white rice
½ c. onions, chopped
1 c. water
1 tsp. brown sugar
¼ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. Sauté bacon, onions, and green peppers in a saucepan over medium heat until tender.
3. Add water, tomato sauce, brown sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil and add the rice.
4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
5. Move to preheated oven and cook until dry, about 10 minutes.
