Orange Scones Recipe

4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 T. grated orange peel
4 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
1 1.4 or 2 1/2 sticks chilled butter- but soft
2 large eggs-lightly beaten
1 c. chilled Half and Half

Preheat to 375 degrees. cook for about 25 minutes
2 lined cookie sheets lined with
Whish 5 dry items together,
Butter, cut into 1/2 in. pieces- mix in with hand till chunky
Mix Half & Half, eggs then put into flour mixture.
Put dough on floured work surface,knead aobut 6 times.
Cut dough in 1/2, p;at into round (about 1 inch thick)
Cut into 6-8 diagonal pie slices.
Put on cookie sheet, sprinkle with sugar, until golden brown in bottom. (about 25 minutes)
