¼ cup melted butter
1 cup sour cream
1 can cheddar cheese soup
½ cup milk
¼-½ cup finely diced onion
2 pound bag Ore-Ida Shredded Hashbrowns
3-4 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray. In large bowl, mix butter, sour cream, soup, milk and onion. Add hashbrowns and cheese. Toss well. Dump mixture into pan, spread out and lightly pat down. Cover with foil and bake for 1 ½ hours. You can bake up to 2 hours without drying out. Should be bubbly and hot in center to be done, don't underbake.

It can help to ensure done in shortest time to defrost the hashbrowns first, either on counter or in microwave. But it is not necessary. This is a great side dish and also works well for buffet by placing in crockpot.
