1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. water
2-2 1/4 c. flour
1 t. salt
1/4 c. butter, melted

Directions:
Mix egg and water in bowl. Gradually add flour and salt, beating until smooth. (Batter should be very thick and break from spoon instead of pouring in continuance stream) Spoon batter into boiling, salted water by 1/2 t. dipping spoon into water each time. After noodles rise to surface, boil gently 5-8 minutes, Drain in collander. Toss with melted butter.
