1 pound Italian Turkey Sausage
Crushed red pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1/2 cup chopped celery
Salt
Pepper
3 cloves crushed garlic
1/2 can crushed tomatoes
8 cups chicken broth
1 cup lentils
Italian seasoning
Parmesan rind (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage in spritz of olive oil. Add crushed red pepper and chopped veggies. Salt and pepper to taste. Add garlic, crush tomatoes, chicken broth lentils and Italian seasoning (and parmesan rind). Bring to boil. Cover and simmer for one hour.
