2 cups sugar
1 cup cream
pinch of salt
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup nutmeats
2-1/2 tbsp cocoa, heaping
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and cocoa and salt. Add cream and mix well. Boil unitl it forms a soft ball when tested in cold water. The trick is NOT TO STIR while cooking so use a heavy pan or skillet and it won't stick. Remove from stove and add the butter and vanilla. Let stand until it's almost cold, then beat hard until it gets a creamy texture and is lighter in color. Put in nuts and put in greased platter or tin
