"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 cups diced tomatoes
2 1/2-3 lbs of ground beef
2 green bell peppers
1 Anaheim pepper
1 onion
1 jalapeno for spice, optional. (If more heat is desired, you can add more.)
1/2 cup chili powder
2 T paprika
1/2 T pepper
1 T salt
1/2 T cumin
4 cloves minced garlic or 1/2 T of garlic powder
2 oz tomato paste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the ground beef in a large saucepan. If desired, season with SPG. Once the ground beef is browned, drain it (removing the fat) and return it to the pot. In a food processor, add bell peppers, anaheim, jalapenos, and onion, and puree. Can be done by hand if desired. Add chopped peppers to the ground beef and stir them in evenly. Add chili powder, paprika, pepper, salt, cumin, garlic, and tomato paste. (If you would like beans in your chili, add the desired amount now.) Stir in. Simmer with the lid on for 20-30 minutes.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
We like a bean-less chili. If you would like beans in your chili, you can add them before simmering.
