beef (sirloin/ribeye), thin strips
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion, slice
2 cloves garlic, mince
1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snow peas)
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp oyster sauce (opt)
1 tsp sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Chop green onions; garnish

Slice beef into thin strips; season with salt & pepper. Cut mixed vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Heat 1 Tbsp of vegetable oil in wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef; cook until browned, about 3-4 min. Remove beef from wok; set aside. In same wok, add remaining 1 Tbsp of vegetable oil. Add sliced onion & minced garlic; stir-fry until onion is translucent. Add mixed vegetables; stir-fry 2-3 min until they are tender-crisp. Add cooked beef back to wok; stir in soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir-fry everything together for another minute, ensuring beef & vegetables are well coated with sauce. Season with salt & pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped green onions.
Serve the beef stir-fry hot over steamed rice or noodles.
