1 cup butter, melted
¾ cup sugar
4 eggs
15oz can creamed corn
4oz can chopped green chiles
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese blend)
1½ cups cornmeal
½ cup flour
4 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 300°F.

In a large mixing bowl (you’ll be adding the dry ingredients later):
Melt the butter and stir in the sugar until smooth.
Whisk in the eggs one at a time.
Whisk in the creamed corn and green chiles.
Whisk in the shredded cheese.

In a medium mixing bowl:
Add the cornmeal.
Add the flour.
Add the baking powder.
Add the salt.
Mix thoroughly.

Add the dry ingredients into the larger bowl of wet ingredients.
Lightly grease or spray a 9x13 pan.
Pour mixture into pan.
Bake at 300°F for one hour until a toothpick comes out clean.
