16 oz. frozen spinach
4 TBSP butter
2 TBSP flour
2 TBSP chopped onion
1/2 cup evaporated milk
½ cup vegetable liquor
black pepper, celery salt, garlic salt, salt
6 oz. jalapeño cheese roll or velvetta cheese
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Cook spinach and drain well, reserve broth. Melt butter in skillet and sauté onion. Add flour stirring until well blended and smooth, but not brown.
Add liquor slowly, stirring constantly, to avoid lumps. Cook until smooth and thick. Add seasonings & cheese cubes. Stir until melted then add spinach.
Serve immediately as dip, or side dish.
Alternative: spread in casserole dish and top with seasoned bread crumb. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes

Note: flavor intensifies if left overnight in refrigerator
