1 cup sugar
½ cup butter
3 to 4 ripe medium bananas
2 eggs
4 tablespoons buttermilk
1 teaspoon soda
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
½ cup of chopped pecans.



Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl of mixer, cream sugar and butter. Add bananas and mix well. Add eggs and continue mixing. Add soda that has been dissolved in buttermilk. Next add flour and salt. Fold in nuts.

Pour into 1 large or 2 small greased and floured loaf pans. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 60 minutes.

(When cooking in small loaves, adjust cooking time to 40-45 minutes.)
