"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Cinnamon swirl

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 4½ tbsp. Melted vegan butter
- 4½ tbsp. Granulated sugar
- 4½ tbsp. Dark brown sugar
- 3 tbsp. Ground cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1) In a small bowl, use a fork to stir together the cinnamon sugar swirl ingredients until thick and well combined.
- If too thick to swirl, add an additional tablespoon of melted butter until it is thin enough to swirl. Note: if it’s too thin, it will just spread and not hold its swirl as the loaf bakes.

2) Grease loaf pan.

3) Spread ⅓ of the batter evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Dollop ⅓ of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter in the pan and then make a nice thick swirl through the batter with a table knife or bottom of a wooden spoon.

3) Repeat 2 more times.

4) Bake at 375ºF for 45 minutes. A testing skewer should come out clean.
