2 c. hot Water
2 tbsp. Crisco
2 tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Salt

¼ c. lukewarm Water
1 Yeast Cake
2 Eggs
4 c. Plain Flour, sifted (or enough to make stiff dough)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 4 ingredients and let cool.
Dissolve yeast cake in ¼ cup of warm water.
Beat eggs and add to cooled Crisco mixture.
Blend Crisco mixture and yeast mixture into flour until it makes stiff dough.
Let mixture stand and rise until double in size.
Punch down.
Fold or shape rolls with butter and let rise again, about 1 hour.
Bake at 425º (varies with oven) until brown.
