5 medium onions
4 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon flour
Three cans beef broth
Two cans of water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
8 slices French French bread
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
8 slices Swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Peel onions and sliced thinly. Melt butter and add onions. Cook onions over medium heat for 25 minutes until golden and soft. Add flour and cook one minute stir constantly. Stir in broth, water, Worcestershire, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Toast bread. Label soup into bowl and top with bread and Swiss cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Put bowls under broiler until cheese is bubbly.
