Ingredients for this recipe are best guesses, you need to taste as you go:

¼ cup unsalted butter
2 tbsp canola oil
1 cup whipping cream
½ white onion (finely diced)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1.5 cups Parmigiano Reggiano (finely shredded)
6 servings of fettuccine noodles
12-24 shrimp (use the large sized ones, thaw 24 hours in a covered bowl in fridge, I
actually count out 6 shrimp per guest)
black pepper to taste
2 tsp Slap Ya Mama seasoning (individuals can add more to their own serving)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Finely dice the white onion and add to a wok with the canola oil and unsalted butter.
2. Salt water for your pasta and start to boil it.
3. Remove shrimp from fridge and rinse in a colander under cold water and dry in
paper towel.
4. Add minced garlic to wok, keep the heat at a medium level, careful not to burn the
garlic.
5. Add in cream and finely grated Parmigiano Reggiano, stir constantly so the mixture
melts and combines. Add more butter/cream/cheese as needed.
6. Add in black pepper to taste along with Slap Ya Mama spice.

8. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to coat.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
1. Let your dinner guests add their own Slap Ya Mama spice as it is very hot and needs
to be handled with care.
2. Alison and I first tried this recipe in New Orleans and the restaurant did not go easy
on the Slap Ya Mama spice! We were both sweating by meals end.
