1 stick butter
1 12 oz can evaporated milk
1 8 oz. pack of Velveeta cheese
24 slices of American cheese
1 lb. (#7) macaroni
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Boil #7 macaroni for approximately 10 minutes, drain and rinse.

Preheat oven to 350ºF. In a greased 4 qt. Corning Ward dish, put a layer of macaroni, cover with sliced cheese, cut butter into small pieces and place on the sliced cheese. Cut the Velveeta into small pieces and place next to butter. Repeat layers until you have used all of the ingredients (approximately 3 layers).

Pour evaporated milk over the top of mixture. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Let stand approximately 10 minutes to thicken. Ready to serve!
