Peppermint Fudge Recipe

One bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
One bag of milk chocolate chips
A large jar of marshmallow cream
4 1/2 C sugar
A pinch of salt
6 T butter
One can evaporated milk
1 to 2 tsp peppermint extract, depending on how minty you like it

1. Pour chocolate chips and marshmallow cream into stand mixer
2. Combine sugar, salt, and butter into large saucepan on stove
3. Over med high heat bring to a slow boil and continue for 6 1/2 minutes. Stir occasionally. Reduce heat and boil for another 30 seconds
4. Pour sugar mixture over ingredients in stand mixture and beat until creamy
5. Add peppermint flavoring and mix well
6. Spread onto well greased cookie sheet. For thicker fudge don't fill cookie sheet entirely
7. Chill in fridge for 2-4 hours or overnight.
8. Cut into squares. It's now ready to eat, but not all at one sitting. :)

Bruce's Grandma Barker made the most delicious peppermint fudge and my recipe is a slight variation of hers.
