2 pounds of halved brussel sprouts
6 strips of bacon, chopped
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 450.
2. Then, in a large bowl, toss the brussel sprouts, bacon, oil, salt and pepper.
3. Transfer the mixture to a 15x10x1 inch baking sheet, before putting in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
4. Stir halfway through the cooking process.
5. Check the sprouts while the timer nears the end of the 20 minute mark, and either check until they are lightly browned and tender or to your liking.
6. When your sprouts are cooked to your liking, sprinkle a bit more seasoning before serving warm.

Lorie Allison is my Grandmother and she asked me to pick a recipe for the recipe book, so I did.

This is my favorite recipe that my dad used to cook for every holiday, though I don't have the exact recepie that he would use, I found one that seems the most accurate. This is the recipe that made me go from disliking brussel sprouts to enjoying them however they are served.
