2/3 Cup Butter or oleo
2/3 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
2 Cups Flour
1 cup Chopped Nuts (optional)
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 (8oz) Package Cream Cheese
2 Eggs
4 TBSP Milk
2 TBSP Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter and brown sugar until light & fluffy. Add flour and nuts; blend until mixture resembles crumbs. Set aside 1 cup of this mixture.
Press remaining mixture into two 8-inch square pans. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

Combine granulated sugar and cream cheese. Beat until smooth. Add eggs, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat well. Spread over baked crust. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. Refrigerate.
