½ lb. (8 oz.) uncooked fettuccine (any pasta)
¼ c. (½ stick) butter
½ c. whipping cream
¼ c. grated parmesan cheese
¼ tsp. salt
pinch of pepper
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. dill
shrimp (cook on high heat with butter, garlic, dill, lemon pepper; add to sauce)

Allow about 35 minutes. Cook fettuccine in lightly salted boiling water until tender but firm (follow pkg directions). Drain; do not rinse. Return noodles to pot.

While fettuccine is cooking, heat butter and whipping cream in a 1½ quart saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, until butter is melted and cream is hot (do not boil). Stir in parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, parsley, dill, and shrimp (if using). Pour sauce over fettuccine; toss to coat. Serve immediately.
