4 heaping tbsps. Brown sugar
2 tbsps. kosher salt
2 tbsps. ground black pepper
about 3 cloves of chopped garlic
1 tbsps. Paprika
6lbs. bone-in pork shoulder or butt, skin removed
½ cup Dijon mustard, enough to coat the pork on all sides.

Don’t worry about portions on the ingredients for this recipe. The tip is to liberally coat the pork with Dijon mustard (I usually just use plan mustard) then rub in lots of brown sugar. One tbsp Paprika for every 6 lbs. of meat. Servings: 8.

Combine brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic and paprika in small bowl and blend well. Cut pork into about 1 lb. pieces and rub the pork with mustard and pat on the seasoning mixture. Then place all the meat in the slow cooker and cook for 8-10 hours on low or 4-6 on high, until the pork is tender enough to pull apart with a fork.
