🌮 Classic 7-Layer Dip

Ingredients:

1 (16 oz) can refried beans

1 (1 oz) packet taco seasoning

1 cup sour cream

1 cup guacamole

1 cup salsa or pico de gallo (drained if watery)

1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese

1/2 cup chopped tomatoes

1/2 cup sliced black olives

Mix beans:
In a bowl, stir taco seasoning into refried beans. Spread mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish or serving platter.

Layer the rest:
Spread each layer carefully over the last:

Guacamole

Sour cream

Salsa or pico

Shredded cheese

Tomatoes

Black olives

Green onions or cilantro (if using)- Aunt Barbara, Aunt Gail, Stephanie and others will not like it

Chill (optional):
Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to let the flavors meld, or serve right away.

Serve with:
Tortilla chips, pita chips, or veggie sticks.
