5 C bread flour
2 1/2 C warm water (105-115)
1/4 C sugar or honey
3 T oil

1 T of yeast

(1 loaf)
3 C flour
1 pk yeast
3 T sugar
1 tsp salt
1 C milk
3 T oil

Follow directions for both recipes:
In mixing bowl, add warm water, sugar, salt and yeast. Let stand until it bubbles about 5 minutes. Start adding the flour until you have a soft dough. DO NOT add too much flour. If you are using a mixer with dough hook, the mix for about 5 minutes. In you don't have a mixer, on floured surface knead dough until it is smooth. Add oil to a large bowl and add the dough to the bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled. ( 1 - 1 ½ hrs)

Grease and flour 2 loaf pans (9x5). Punch dough. Lay on floured surface and cut into 2 loaves. With you hands, press each loaf out to a rectangle and roll up and place into pans. Cover and let rise for another 45 minutes to 1 hr until it has risen about 1 inch above the pan.

Bake in preheated oven on 350 degrees for about 25-30 min or until golden on top. Invert loaves onto a wire rack and brush tops with melted butter.

NOTE:
The loaf made with milk is softer and last longer but I like the other one better.
