1 c all purpose flour
3 tbs corn starch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 stick butter barely softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º

Mix dry ingredients in a mixing bowl with wire whisk till fully combined
In stand mixer or mixing bowl cream together butter and both sugars till light and fluffy
Add egg and vanilla and mix
Add 1/2 dry ingredients and mix just until moistened
Add remaining dry ingredients and mix again. Don’t over mix
Add mini and regular chocolate chips and stir with mixer or by hand until combined

Scoop with large cookie scoop and place onto cookie sheet leaving good spacing (max 8 per 1/2 sheet pan)
Optional: chill cookies for 30 minutes before baking
Bake for 14-15 minutes until outer edges are just browned and tops are golden
Remove from oven and after 2 minutes remove cookies from sheet to cooling rack or glass plate.
